The German GameMusic Award is an innovative competition, bringing video games and live orchestral music together in new ways. High quality games are a work of art in which music plays an important role for setting the mood. The music of a game can be a deciding factor in a game’s success.

The German GameMusic Award encourages young European composers to submit their compositions for popular game trailers. Participants of the competition can win attractive prizes.

The winning compositions will be performed in a live Game Symphony together with other music from well-known video games. The compositions will be performed by the Landesjugendorchester Bremen which unites the best young musicians (14 to 25 years) from Bremen and the surrounding area.

In addition to the musical performance there will be a supporting educational program for various groups of people.

The German GameMusic Award is organized by the Landesjugendorchester Bremen.
